The professional duo of Aigars Zumbergs and Kris Boritis secured gold in the couples standings during the final stage of the championship in Liepaja with an impressive score of 21 points, marking the best overall performance throughout the season.
The Latvian Championship Street Fishing 2025 is a prestigious multi-stage national tournament where participants compete across various cities, accumulating points along the way. This year's competition ran from May through August 2025, with the final stage taking place in Liepaja, bringing together the country's strongest anglers for an intensely competitive showdown.
When asked about the key factor behind their success, team member Aigars Zumbergs shared, "There are two decision makers in our team and this allowed us to change the strategies quickly and adapt to the challenges faced during the tournament."The winning strategy involved a tactical approach to fishing – not simply aiming to catch more fish, but focusing on catching the right ones.
Gear That Made the Difference
