Congrats to the Swedish Fly Fishing Team!

The Swedish Fly Fishing Team (@svenskaflugfiskelandslaget) competed at Flugfiskelandslaget on September 27-29, securing all three top prize spots. This marks another victory for them this year, and we are proud to collaborate with these champions.

The competition was not only filled with successful catches but also intense, stressful moments. The team’s leader shared his experience:
“The most stressful moments would have to be the river since the fishing was slow and it took a lot of effort to get them to bite. The stress level went up when I lost a few big ones because they were very important fish since the catch rate overall wasn't that high.” - Jonas (@flyfishfreak_jonas), team leader

Jonas caught 8 fish, the highest number caught in the lake throughout the competition, and he, along with his teammates, delivered outstanding results.

Proguide waders and Coaster jackets provided the necessary protection from water and wind for our champions, while Speedmaster boots ensured a solid grip on wet surfaces.

“I'm very satisfied with the gear from FINNTRAIL that keeps handling all the rock crawling , tripping and falling down that is normal for a competition. I had a very good grip with my felt sole wading boots on the slippery bottom but stones that roll away when you step on them is another story. I really like that the collar on the wading jacket is high so it is easy to keep warm like in the chilly mornings we had.” - Jonas (@flyfishfreak_jonas), team leader
